Withdrawing from Classes
Before withdrawing from a course or from the University, a student should confer with an Academic Advisor and the Business
Office. Students withdrawing or administratively withdrawn before the last day to withdraw without academic penalty will receive a grade of "W"
(withdrew). Students withdrawing or administratively withdrawn after the last day to withdraw without academic penalty with receive a "WF"
(withdrew failing) for the course. Students withdrawing or administratively withdrawn within the third week of the scheduled mini-session will receive
a grade of "W" (withdrew). After the third week, a grade of "WF" (withdrew failing) will be recorded.
Failure to follow these procedures may result in a failing grade in the course. Withdrawal deadlines are indicated in each quarter's class schedule.
Students may qualify for a refund based on their Last Date of Attendance (LDA) in the course. Please review the Add/Drop and
Class Withdrawal policy listed in the Financial Information chapter of the University catalog.

Student Agreements
A SOC (Service members Opportunity Colleges) is an agreement between the University and the service member that will protect
your credits and degree program as you transfer from duty station to duty station. It also offers a way to select courses from many colleges within
the SOC Network for guaranteed transferability to your Strayer University degree plan. Navy students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree
Strayer University are eligible for a SOCNAV agreement.
If you have selected Strayer University as your host institution, are pursuing an undergraduate degree, and have submitted all
required official transcripts from previously attended institutions, all official score reports, and your SMARTS document, an official academic
evaluation will be conducted. The SOC agreement is processed following completion of the evaluation.
Please Note: For relocation students who have already been issued a SOC from Europe or Asia, that SOC is still viable and will be honored stateside as long as there has not been a 2-year break in enrollment and they are continuing with the same degree plan. We do not issue a new SOC stateside if their overseas SOC is still viable and there has been no change in their degree plan. Also, updated SOC's are not issued. A new SOC will be issued following the completion of a new evaluation only when students change their degree plan (different major; adding/deleting optional minor; changing catalog year which changes degree requirements). Grades
The student's final grades and cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is posted 48 hours after the completion of the quarter.
If your grade has not posted, please contact the Academics Office of your home campus.
Instructors have the option of giving the grade of Incomplete ("I") only to a student whose work in a course has been
satisfactory, but who, because of illness or other circumstances beyond the student's control, has been unable to complete some small part of the
work of the course. The student must remove the "I" grade by completing work assigned by the instructor. It is the responsibility of the student to
request and make arrangements with the instructor to complete the work by the end of the following quarter. Otherwise the "I" automatically
becomes an administrative failure ("F*"). An administrative "F*" counts as "0" in determining the grade point average.
No student receiving an "I" can be on the Honor Roll, Dean's List, or the President's List for that quarter. Graduation
To graduate from Strayer University, students should file an application no later than two quarters before the student's final
quarter. Before beginning the application process, all students should be enrolled in their final courses and have fulfilled all financial commitments to
the University. Students who meet these requirements should complete the graduation application online. The graduation application is available
through the Strayer University Web site. A mandatory, non-refundable $125 degree evaluation fee will be automatically charged to your student
account after submission.
Diplomas are available at your home campus 10-12 weeks after completion of your final course at Strayer University. Please
contact the Business Office regarding availability.
